How many volts does it take to stun a pig

How many volts does it take to stun a pig

First, you must estimate the weight of the pigs that are going to be stunned. if the pig weights vary a lot, and then set the suitable voltage. And the voltage set below for reference:

Weight: 100kg – 150kg Voltage: 95v-150v

Weight: 150kg – 250kg Voltage: 150v-200v

Weight: > 250kg        Voltage: 200v-250v

The supply voltage may vary slightly in different countries or regions. So it’s suggested to adjust the voltage slightly according to stunning effect to prevent pig from overhigh voltage.

What is the effect of pig electric stunning

What is the effect of pig electric stunning

1. Improve work safety. Pigs or sheep will struggle too hard in the slaughtering process, threatening the personal safety of workers.  The pig /goat was stunned before the bloodletting,it’s safe.
