Rubber Brush Rollers

5. Operation Guide for Goat Dehairing

Follow these steps for optimal dehairing results:

Prescalding – Scald the goat in a hot water tank at 65–68°C (adjust by breed, size, and season). Proper scalding is essential for high dehairing efficiency. Uneven scalding leads to poor hair removal.

Loading – Use the pneumatic/hydraulic cradle to retrieve the scalded goat from the tank and transfer it directly into the dehairing chamber.

Dehairing – Start the machine. The four shafts rotate in the same direction while rubber fingers rub the carcass. Spray warm water via the builtin pipe to wash away hair, blood, and dust.

Ejection – After 30–40 seconds (or when dehairing is complete), the hydraulic discharge shaft automatically lifts and ejects the clean goat.

Postprocessing – Fine hair in armpits or wrinkled areas may require singeing or manual scraping. A polishing roller can be used for 100% cleanliness.

Important operational checks before use:

Confirm that the machine rotation direction matches the marked arrow.

Ensure the hydraulic station motor is in forward rotation; reverse rotation will cause the cylinder not to move.

Only operate after verifying correct rotation of both motors (main motor + hydraulic motor).
